Default lower AR-15

2 questions- does anyone have an opnion of this lower for price ,& or quality ? I've a new upper in my hot lil hand, & would put together a pickup gun . cal..223 14" bushy. I realize triggers are whatever you want to spend, but, how much more is needed to complete the gun ? Thanks for your thoughts. jerry .Centerfire Systems <marketing@centerfiresystems.com>

Are you referring to this lower on the centerfiresystems site?

If so, the closeup picture shows a very rough lower. I'd stay far away!
Spikestactical.com is selling a very well made lower for $90 (50% sale). I highly recommend you get that one instead.

or check out anvil arms. they are excellent quality as well. I have spikes, anvil arms, rock river, del-ton, CMMG, bushmaster and DPMS.
I like them all. my top three are the first ones listed.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

Thumbs up Ordered 2

I thought the market had bottomed out at $79.00 and ordered 2. They will be in Tuesday, I'll give you my opinion on them when they arrive. I'd have to see that someone had a successful build on the dirt cheap 55.00 forged ones.
Here's a link to a couple of succesful builds on the TNW's. They are cut from a 6061 billet, not 7075, I have done a bit of research on 6061 and with the beefed up design have I no problems with using it. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=463760

Here's the link to the closeout forged lowers-

I hope somebody orders one and does a review, that's cheaper then most LPK's!

Talking Lowers built, uppers on the way

It's been awhile, but here goes... The TNW billet receiver is A1 in quality and finish (they are 89.00 now at Centerfire Systems and available in FDE) I traded a guy from North Glenn 2 boxes of .45 lc. silvertips for a Dpms LPK.... it went in with very little effort. I then bought a used A2 stock tube and buffer off the EE @ ARF.om for 25.00 shipped (had a few scuffs....I was going to do that anyway) so, for 135.00 including transfer I have a complete lower.
Next I ordered a DS arms ZM4 mid-length upper w/ a BCG and CH for 419.00 shipped. It's on the way..... I can't wait to snap it together and shoot it.
Not bad..... 554.00 for a nitride treated, fluted barreled, billet receivered cheapo!

P.S. I have a quad rail and BUIS on the way also.

Pics and a range report soon.
