Default DeSantis -tuck this II-IWB holster

Just got it in today from midway and had my first outing with it. I'm carrying a Glock 30SF. First thoughts were kind of iffy. Holster material seems real soft and not forming to the firearm. It has an extra mag pouch/slot and that seemed weird too. I haven't carried it with the extra mag yet but "practicing" carry it seems fine. Still trying to find the sweet spot for this pistol to carry it on my waist. I went with the 2-2:30 spot and that seems OK. It does have an adjustable cant/tilt feature. Right now its 15 forward. I might go a bit more to hide the butt a little better. It didn't leave a real noticeable imprint even while wearing a t-shirt and shorts. I imagine with a bit bulkier shirt it would be better. It is comfortable enough. I think this holster showed me I need to lose a few lbs though. This is my first thought..... so far so good. For the price its great.

Cool, can you post some pictures of it? I have been using a Comptac Spartan for the G19 and am considering getting a different set up......or maybe a G26.

Just seems a little bulky......and I also need to lose a few lbs!

Here are the pics as requested.

I went out again with it today and moved it over to the 3 o'clock spot. I like it there with the shirt I wore today. Button up but light material. It hangs a bit lower than the T shirt I wore yesterday. I haven't carried with the extra mag yet, so no comment there. It holds firmly on my hip with the over the waistband of your paints/shorts and under and secured below your belt with the lip. So, again so far so good.

When did that model come out? I've got the regular Tuck This and have a few complaints about it. It looks like they did a much better job on the adjustability this time. Does the grip of the gun stick up over the belt line? In my version it doesn't, and makes it difficult to grab the gun. So I shortened the belt clip and drilled new holes to raise the grip up a little.

Also, I never carry an extra mag in mine. It is kind of awkward to have the mag on the strong side, plus it adds more weight to that side.

I agree about the extra mag. I'm not sure I care for it on the strong side either. I doubt I'll use it for everyday use. The grip does stick above the belt line. I have dry run this thing a little and have no problem on the pull. Re-holstering is slow but who cares about that. I like it so far.

I have the original TT and came up with some of the same conclusions. I could never get the cant screws tight enough and it would rock after a while. Also, reholstering was a two hand job.

Kind of late but.......It just sits in the cabinet now. I just couldn't get over the down falls to keep it going. I don't like the extra mag pouch on the strong side. I know....just go with out using it there. Also I don't like how it is held in place. Seems to want to rotate on me through out the day. The screws aren't the problem here. Maybe my belt or just the design. I'd pass it over if I had to do it again.
