ruger pre mark 1 ?

I have an old ruger 22 looks almost new, but the hammer has just started having issues locking back, if I hold the gun upside down and rck the slide it locks back right side up it does not... and parts are getting hard to come by

sounds like a spring problem, probably not a big hassel, even if other parts are worn,any good gunsmith should be able to repair make ,weldup ,recut whatever, not a complex piece
