COAR's youngest old fart
good thread i just shot my rifle today i shoot it every wed at 7, 50 yards indoors with slings! shooting NRA targets A-23/5 we shoot 20 shots for record!
i own a H&R Model 12 it was made in the early 90's if i can recall looking it up some where, it is a single shot bolt gun with redfield sites which used to be based in Colorado the front was an olympic globe and the rear is a plama sights. from my understanding it was used to mimic the weight of an M14 for practice. It was produced as a cheaper copy of the Winchester 52.
specs:
barrel length: 28''
overall length: 46 1/2"
barrel type: target weight-free floated
stock: oil fished hardwood-note my coach who sold me the rifle re finished the stock!
weight/empty: 12 pounds, 5 ounces
sights: redfield plama rear and olympic front
sight radius: 32''
here is a picture of my rifle!
