    Unit 3, up by Baggs WY, on the Colorado side of course. I've seen more monster size antelope up there than anywhere else.

    i dont know how to quote someone's post. but in reference to the statement that there arent any deer tags for first season in unit 43, there are NO deer tags ANYWHERE IN THE STATE in first season. been that way for probably 10 years or more, since they added a season. 43 is hard to get a tag for 4th season, really hard for high country buck, but i usually buy a left over license for archery in 43, and sometimes there are left over licenses for 2nd season(first deer season).

    I've been up there archery hunting when I was a kid. took my first antelope, my first big game and my first archery kill all at the same time on a decent buck.
