You mean the torpedo bouncing off the hull? I didn't have sound when I watched it....

I thought the radio call and the repeated encounters with the sub on the surface just yards apart were laughable. Wolfpacks used stealth and picked away at the convoy. They weren't in your face trading blows. The wolfpacks also didn't contain large numbers of subs as depicted in the radar image (and they would not have given away their positions anyway).

Yeah, surface encounters were a... "okay, it's Hollywood, I'm looking past it for a moment" ..... and then you get the cliche Nazi impression radio call from a sub and magically 60 tangos appear on the radar scope all chasing one Fletcher destroyer. If you had the sound off you'd somewhat miss that.

I guess their inspiration is a legendary battle inside a 1990's arcade game.

Briefly considered it, but the rental is like $20. I'll wait for the later release and buy it for that price.

No. Thought about watching the Invisible Man.

Sure, it?s $20. But if the wife and I both watch it isn?t any more than we?d spend going to the theater. And the soda and popcorn is way cheaper at home.

Hopefully your floors aren't as sticky as well.
