Saw "The Revenant" tonight/ Pretty good movie a little tedious at times but worth seeing.

Watched a real doozie of a film last night called "teeth". Still not sure what I watched, but would rate it 3 severed members out of 5.

Watched a couple of movies at the house last night.

Mad Max Fury Road. Didn't care for it. Made it all of the way through and I'm a fan of the older ones but just couldn't get into this one.

Jurassic World. I only ever saw the original but this one was pretty entertaining. Kind of a rehash of the first one as far as I'm concerned but still worth watching.

Going to see the new Star Wars this afternoon.

Tusk will be tonight's special feature!
TUSK. a movie about an old goofy bastard and his love for walruses. The rest is where it gets AWESOME ! Can't spoil it for the rest of you by telling more. Acting is actually pretty darn good. Visual effects are not shabby. Story is unique and interesting.
RATING, 4 crazy Canadiens out of 5.

Watched Max last night. The war dog movie. It was much worse than I was expecting. Nothing wrong with it, just standard fare dog saves boy plot that could be, and has been, used in 100 other films. Very predictable, very "Disney" (even though it's not a Disney product). Again, nothing wrong with the movie, just not worth paying to see.

Also finished up Jessica Jones on Netflix. Jessica Jones was only okay, but I still watched the whole thing and will probably watch next season as well.

I was trying to watch Jessica Jones but never made it past the second or third episode. It felt like a crappy detective show kind of blended with a bad superhero show.

I did watch the first series of the Flash and thought it was pretty decent if you're into superheroes.

I think there are so few shows/movies with strong female leads that even mediocre performances get more attention than they usually would.
