Since they were hyping the Dark Crystal series I made another attempt to watch the original film. I couldn't get half way through. I don't get the attraction.

Went to see "Ad Astra" today. It's OK, but not a must see. Brad Pitt is good, but it's a bit slow. Wait for Netflix.

Went to go see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Did not have a clue what it was about. Just that it was a Tarantino flick with some familiar actors. Very very good mix of two stories.

Here's an interesting read for those who weren't born or old enough in that time period.

Like Inglorious Bastards it is the way we wished history had happened. For anyone who remembers listening to radio constantly while driving the film is simply enjoyable on that level alone.

Just finished 3. Fun as heck. It's not at the same level as 1, but it was fun to watch after working 17 days straight and indulging in several beers. 2 seemed way more campy to me, but again, several beers. Worth the rental fee IMO.

    Spoiler alert

One scene I really liked was when Wick and a bad guy were under water and the bad guys bullets only travelled a few feet before losing velocity. It was cool to see SOMETHING realistic.

Saw "Joker". Joaquin Phoenix is either an amazing actor, or very disturbed.

That being said, I'm not a comic book fan, so I don't understand the buzz about the movie. It's dark, slow, and disturbing. Not my cuppa.

Word on the street is that the new Terminator movie stinks on ice.

When they can't extract enough good content to make the trailer look good, you know it's bad.
