I'd rather laugh than be grossed out. I also prefer suspense to horror.

I just don't understand horror movies. I rarely flinch & I'm not squeamish. It typically comes off as gratuitous & unrewarding.

A great Sci/Fi Comedy I have (re)watched recently, "Galaxy Quest." Quickly becoming one of my favorite movies of all time.

Though I do remember someone posting a rice cooker once & a cat had pooped on the rice. That was nasty.

The best horror movies are the ones where you have no idea it is a horror movie, until, you feel, or are in horror.

Ok, then I give up. Carrie was the scariest thing I have ever seen, and I was probably 12. The Descent, and The Ring, and other modern day horrors still can rock my mind.

I can say that seeing "The Ωmega Man" when you're 5 years old will stick with you.

Knowing you haven't is a kind of horror. ; -)
