Tonight we watched this movie. I was so impressed. It's German and has a pretty slow build, and if you watch it based on my recommendation you won't believe me for a long time during the movie. But I think it's worth the watch.

I don?t care for movies dubbed over to English or having to read subtitles but I saw a preview for a movie on Amazon called AK-47 Kalashnikov. Looked like a story about Mr. Kalashnikov and the development of the AK. (With actors, like a movie. Not a documentary.)

Just throwing it out there if anyone is interested.

Wow, that is a movie that needs to be watched more than once! Thanks for the post, Not a lot of dialog so no big problem with English subtitles . Unusual plot, pretty creepy and well done.

    Super Glue....?

I had recorded this movie on the Comcast DVR from one of the Encore channels some time ago.
Last night was a great line-up of TV with Oprah's interview of the runaway Prince and his bride, or the NBA's All Star Thriller.
I thought, "Hey, I recorded a movie about survival in the Arctic!" Let me watch that.

First recommendation: Read the description from any source so you have a clue what is going on.
This is one you can watch while loading ammo, reading the paper, fermenting beer, or staring off into space.
I admit, after 4 days of the unknown central character's journey, I did use the 30 second jump forward function on the DVR a couple of times.
    Have fun!

Okay, I read my review and I apologize!
It actually was not as bad as I made out.
In long retrospect, it was not a waste of time, but I probably will not repeat the experience.
One lesson- do not crash land in the Arctic, even if you know what your doing

Glad you watched it. I feel like I can't talk about any of the reasons I liked this movie so much without spoiling it.

I can’t remember the title of the movie but it was a limited release about WW1. Do any of you all remember that film

    Thanks.

Was it the one with one camera following the main actor in one continuous scene? I think that one was called 1917?
