ok so earlier today I watched the original True Grit for the first time. It was ok, but I'm immune to all the nostalgia that folks who saw it as a kid feel.

It's funny that the duke hated the girl that played mattie.

Tonight I watched lucky number slevin again. (because of it's mention here) I like it. Good plot twist crime caper flick.

I watched dinner for schmucks last night.

didn't like it much. mildly funny in a couple of places, but for the most part frustrating how weak and stupid the lead character is.

Better than I thought it would be, actually.

I liked it, wasn't my favorite, but ok funny. However I will agree with you about how frustrating it was to watch the main character be so pathetic.

Watched Hellride last night. Fun movie! Good remake of the '70s motorcycle genre.

Watched Case 39 also. Or should I say fast forwarded through it. Don't waste your time. I have seen/read this same story somewhere else.

We watched The Town tonight. There were a few Hollywood parts, but it was an okay movie. My issue was that the sound was terrible and there were a few scenes that just abruptly switched to the next scene. It was like the production was done by some first year film student. I don't know if it was because we rented it from Comcast or what, but we got Inception from Comcast and it wasn't as bad.
