I personally wouldn't go as far to say that Black Hawk Down goes into even my top 20... don't get me wrong, it's a well made film and I really liked it, but I read the book first and served with a couple of guys who were there (one with the 10th the other with 75th Rangers) and they both said that the movie made some very inexcusable mistakes... 1) They portrayed the Rangers to be like ordinary infantry, 2) They made it look like the UN (Pakistan) saved them in the morning when in reality it was mostly the 10th Mountain boys that saved the day. Plus the movie didn't really stay all that true to history. But I still think it's an overall great movie.

We watched THIS over the weekend in honor of Memorial Day ... was excellent.
(yeah, I know it's not out on DVD yet ... no I'm not going to explain how torrents work).
I just can't watch Saving Private Ryan anymore ... Tom Hanks has come out as too much of a libtard douche lately for me to watch anything with him in it and NOT see yet another enemy of America profiting off of the patriotism of good Americans (and Matt Damon ain't much better).
As for Black Hawk Down, the book was a lot better (they combined several of the characters from the book into single characters in the movie ... I understand why they did it from a movie making standpoint, but it still made the book better and truer. Also should read Killing Pablo by the same author).

A World Without Guns <- Great Read!
Went and saw MIB III yesterday. It was decent; not as good as the first and second, but I enjoyed it

Torrents FTW! Thanks for reminding me! Is there a good DVD quality copy available yet?
Phuck the libdouches that make war movies and support the troops then support some asshat that turns around and disrespects the troops (talking about OBL and Obama taking credit)... I heard a rumor they're wanting to make a movie out of Killing Pablo, that's one of my favorite books... Oh I'm crossing my fingers!

The one I got was a standard def Blu-Ray Rip. Looked as good as DVD if not better. I think there are some HD Blu-Ray Rips out there but since my LaCinema device doesn't play HD (its old ... I need to replace it. Although if I can get a Plex server to play the full HD MKV files through my Roku boxes that would be cool too) I just stick with SD stuff.
Rumors about a Killing Pablo movie range from "its being made" to "the project is dead". Would love to see it as a movie as well.
History Channel did a show on the book though.

You all seen "Severe Clear" on Netflix? Man war is hell.
"War of the Arrows"
Foreign film (I think Korean), but was great. Very much enjoyed that film and would even watch it again (which I don't do that often).
It's available on Netflix if anyone subscribes...
