If not already mentioned, Baraka is one of the better movies I've seen. Additionally, the creators have made a new one (Samsara, opens in Denver on 9/7) that should be to the likings of those that enjoyed Baraka.

Just finished watching "In Time" with Justin Timberlake on HBO. I really wanted to see that movie. I was disappointed because it is just a movie that incorrectly riles up poor people against banks and the rich.

If you enjoyed "Falling Down", this is up your alley!

Watched ths last night. Ddn't gve me much new information, but it did put some things in perspective. I have a better understanding of who & what Barrack Obama is. I don't like him any better, in fact, I distrst him even more.
The movie is only good as a supplement to the book. Since the book is in "first person" perspective, all of the detail that made the book so amazing couldn't translate to the movie without making it 6 hours long. Read the book, you'll love it.
The first book is Fantastic. It took me about 30 pages to get into the groove of the writers style, but once I did I found the story very compelling. The second book was good, but not quite as good as the first. The third book took some liberties that I disagreed with and it seemed like the writer was rushing things to wrap up the story - especially at the very end. I found the third book disappointing.

I saw "Trouble With the Curve" this weekend, and really liked it. Clint Eastwood sure has changed the tone of his movies over the last few years and I, for one, like it.
He kinda of deals with growing older and how our lives affect our kids.

Just got through watching The Good, The Bad and The Weird again. Pretty fun Asian spaghetti western.
Haven't seen anything lately that was worth finishing.

Just saw Alex Cross....pretty good movie, super predictable thought...or at least I thought.
It served its purpose though...it was amusing.
And one hell of a Commercial Advertisement for Cadillac/GM
