My wife and I watched "My All American" on Netflix last night. We both enjoyed it. It's based on a true story about a guy from Wheatridge who played football for the University of Texas in the 1960's.

    Freddie Steinmark class of 1967.
Steinmark grew up in Wheat Ridge and went to the University of Texas, where he was one of the leaders of the team during its national title win in 1969.
He died in 1971 from a cancer that cost him his leg.
The Steinmark Award was named in his honor, and is given each year to a male and female recipient who are multi-sport athletes and excel on the field, in the class and in the community.

Oops! Sorry. Old Wheat Ridge Alum before his time. Heard about him while I was in the service.

We saw the remake of The Magnificent Seven. It was well done, although it will never replace the original. Peter Skarsgaard is getting typecast as the bad guy a lot, and he's just not got the screen presence or the charisma to pull it off, IMO.

Took me five attempts but I finally managed to get through "Batman vs Superman". Possibly the worst superhero movie ever made.

I'd say if you had to choose between watching this or going shopping for clothes with your wife you should choose the shopping trip.

LOL. I rarely get to watch a movie and I saw this the other night and thought the EXACT same way when it was over.
