I'm watching Oliver Stone's Untold History Of The United States.

Episode 4 and so far it has been honest and unbiased. Lot's of little details I didn't know about.

It starts at the beginning of WWII and moves forward. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry, I watched the first episode last night and lost even more respect for that liberal hack. Was that the untold story of the US or the Soviet Union? He downplayed our role in liberating the Pacific, turning the tide of the war in Europe on the Western Front, liberating France, and doing all of this coming out of a depression. The USSR didn't exactly win WWII, they just threw so many bodies at the Germans that they would eventually be overwhelmed. Russia didn't really use tactics and military strategy that was innovative or world changing. "Go rush at those Germans or we'll shoot you!" Can't really do much else. Jhood, you are aware that Oliver Stone is fascinated with Communism, right?

Lego Movie was entertaining ... however the ham-fisted leftard propaganda bits were annoying (badguy is "President Business" ... if they named him "President Government" the movie would be a libertarian/objectivist propaganda film instead of a leftist one).

    Godzilla today.......yawn.
I got tired of all the actors and "The Stare".........
The previews were all misleading. Brian Cranston.......c'mon, he was barely in the movie. Monsters where constantly changing scale in all scenes.

I suggest watching Gojira (the original) and then watching the new US version...

    +1.

Godzilla and his nemesis are well done, but I couldn't help feel I was watching a monster version of the Titanic (albeit shorter). I read that the last 1/3 of the movie was supposed to be the best; but I felt robbed. Imagine watching an Ali/Frazier fight with Days of Our Lives interjected at the 5 minute mark of a round...

The only part I thought to myself "that's cool" involved a head and radioactive fire...

If your'e looking for a Host, Cloverfield, or hell, even Pacific Rim, this is not it. Wait for DVD/Netflix.

Ronin, I appreciate your viewpoint; but a good movie needs to stand by itself, regardless of it's heritage.

If you have Netflix, I highly recommend this movie. Just don't be prepared to be smile at the end...

Watched Lone Survivor on demand last night, quite good but depressing.

Took my niece to see godzilla, kind of a let down. In a two hour monster movie there was about 8 minutes of monsters.
