So I just watched "Vanishing Point" (1971) last night... pretty awesome movie. It really makes me want to go out and get a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. Kinda funny watching it though, the whole time I was thinking that there was no way to pull that off in modern days... Oh and I didn't like the ending. But the blind character Cleavon Little (of Blazing Saddles fame) was pretty cool.

The guy being thrown across the bar towards the beginning. He's from Highlands Ranch. yeah i know useless trivia.
If you like some of them older (for you) movies. Check out The Killer Elite, with Robert Duvall and James Caan. Off beat ones. Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia.

Netflix doesn't have Willow, Legend, The Sandlot, or Never Ending Story. How the hell am I supposed to raise my daughter? How?!

Any good alien, space, sci-fi, or ghost movie recommendations?

2001: A Space Odyssey
Alien Quadrilogy
Prometheus
Attack The Block (British humor/action alien movie)
The Frighteners (Michael J. Fox ghost movie)
Species (horror alien movie, a series actually, about an alien/human hybrid that wants to procreate. As you can guess there is some adult content)
Sphere
The arrival
Starship Troopers
Cloverfield (alien?)
The Thing
Dreamcatcher (not many liked this, but I found it to be very well made)
Contact
The X-Files (the movie does well enough on its own, but if you have seen the show a lot more of it makes sense)
Slither
Star Trek and Star Wars(duh)

The new Godzilla is pretty bad ass. Watching it right now.
Watched Captain America The Winter Soldier earlier, good movie as well. Political thriller disguised as an action film.
Kind of an all in one, try "Event Horizon" ... creepy flick, surprised not many people have seen it.
I always loved Event Horizon.
Thanks for the list Ronin, didn't see it as I was out of town. I'm highly suspect of your list because it doesn't contain District 9.
