I suppose graphic novels works best. From Hell is too extraordinary in its depth to be called a comic. At the end of the anthology I have, Alan Moore has added pages of references to the actual historical happenings that support his Jack the Ripper theory.

I liked V for vendetta. when parliment was exploding at the end I had to chew my lip to keep from cheering. I love the 1812 overture.

League was good as well, in a campy action movie way. (hell I loved hudson hawk)

never read watchmen, and thought the movie sucked. complete shit.

today I watched the bounty hunter. utterly forgettable.

a couple of days ago I watched hot tub time machine. mildly funny, but not nearly as good as the hangover.

I liked time machine much better after reading a theroy on imdb that bald guy was actually successful in killing himself and the rest of the film is his afterlife. makes much more sense when looked at from that perspective.

I can totally see how people wouldn't like Watchmen though.

When he came back into the news with an attempted extradition a bunch of artistic types came to his defense since artists can do what they want. Creeps!

I think the site is just limited to Roman Polanski's enablers. I believe the guy who directed the Jeepers Creepers movies is a convicted pedophile. If they did a site that listed all the Hollywood folk who were pervs there would be a small list of movies left. I think some of them believe being a pedophile is a lesser sin than being a Republican.

I went and saw Predators tonight. Some interesting new alien twists in it. Lots of talk about humanity in it. Lots of gun stuff. One really big plot hole in it towards the end, but it doesn't necessarily ruin the movie. I would wait for the DVD.
