Consider me schooled! I do love a good book, but lazily will watch a movie, etc.

But just as I love good movies, and will make an effort to watch them, so I will good books

I'll be the downer of the crowd and say it was a terrible movie.

Turn off the movie and read the book. Hollywood didn't do author any favors.

I think if you read The Road before you saw the movie you had more comprehension of what exactly was going on. JMHO

I posted this on May 8 on another site.

I had a nightmare where the world ended - it began with Russel Crowe getting pissed off from someone taking video of him on a riding lawnmower. Things quickly spiraled out of control from that single incident.

Much later there were armored police trucks with belt-fed machine guns and much explosion. Vehicles were disappearing and it was like world-war-z met purge. I couldn't wake up.

With how 2020 is going, I want to error on the side of caution and give Russel Crowe a lot of space....
Then this trailer drops 3 days ago:

    Seriously LOL'ing.

Falling Down, the Road Rage Edition.

I can't remember which comedian that mentioned it, but they were talking about that inner voice that tells you to do things that you know you shouldn't? People are starting to listen to that voice.

The first part brought Falling Down to mind too! Then he just gets too fixated. If he at least shoots up a drive through or something it would be a 10/10 sequel. On a side note, he looks a lot - bigger - he almost has John Goodman vibes now. I wonder if that was for the role.

Heard he had been gaining weight for a role. Gotta' have that overweight, white, drives a pickup, crazy guy character. Did he have a Trump bumper sticker on the pickup?

I heard the voice of the comedian associated to that memory as I was doing dishes last night. Found the clip (specifically on topic about road rage at 3:18):
