    From 1964. Pretty fine story about a British detachment of engineers fighting in South Africa 1878.
    What doing the right thing at the right time does. Not Custer's last stand.

    We just finished watching a documentary called Touching The Void.

    We had never even heard of it, and stumbled onto it toward the beginning. I almost changed it at a slow part, and am really glad I didn't. I was a very good watch and pretty intense. I think it might have appeared on HBO or something.

    I read the book years ago. It was in July. Just reading it made me cold and my knees hurt. Joe Simpson didn't have the best of luck.
