    Default Very low serial number 1903 Springfield

    I Inherited an Very low serial number 1903 springfield. I am looking to get it apraised so I can isure it properly. Also I want to try and figure out the history of the gun. It is getting cleaned right now and will post pics on monday when I get it back. Anyone out there do appraising?

    There are some military gun forums and search sites where you can get an idea on history with the SS # and estimated prices according to condition. Good Luck
