Default New FFL in Colorado Spings for Mil/LEOs Neve's

Neve's Uniform Supply has been in Colorado Springs for about a year now and they have had their FFL for the past 6-7 weeks. This is what the told me today when I went in to buy a Glock. They had several differant models. I really wanted a OD framed G17 but they didn't have any so they called up to Denver at their other shop but the other shop said it would be like a 3-6 wait for one. They said something like a year wait for a Glock 17C.

Anyways, I got a NIB Glock 17 with 3 17 round mags for $427.67 OTD. Apparantly, they will only sell firearms to Mil/LEOs so bring your orders and proof you live in CO (they wanted to see this so I showed them my car registration). Sweet deal.

Cool; now I know where to never spend a dime of my six-figure annual (civilian) income.

    Default Why restrict sales?

What type of business model thinks that restricting sales to LEO and Military would be more profitable then none restriction?
    They sound like dumb asses.

Probably has everything to do with the price point they are getting the glocks. If they are getting them at the Mil/LEO price point they can only sell to that market.

Because Neves is a police supply store. And Glock sells LE/Mil Glocks to LE Dealers at a lower price than they sell them commercial Glocks.

And if people want to bitch and whine about not being able to get LE/Mil pricing, two things...

#1. You had a choice in jobs/careers. Glock is taking care of those that take care of you.

#2. Glock also extends LE/Mil pricing to GSSF (Glock Sport Shooting Foundation) members.

I'm not "bitching", I'm simply exercising my choice to spend my money wherever I choose. I've been to Neeve's in the past and I picked up a clear sense of "You're not a cop so you're not really worthy of our time", which is fine with me as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Neeve's will do just fine without my business, and I can do just fine without purchasing from Neeve's. Not a big deal.

Good to know; I appreciate you passing on the info. If I purchase any Glocks in the future, I'll join the GSSF and purchase them at somewhere other than Neeve's.

Keep in mind, the "six figures" was/is including the two to the right of the decimal place...Seriously, I don't make >$100,000/yr but it sounded more "profound" when I lied. Now, excuse me while I go look in a dumpster for my next meal...Also, I realized I mis-spelled "Neve's" but I don't really care enough to edit my previous post. I don't know why I even posted, as I really couldn't care less.
