FWIW I was looking at the Savages, but fell in love with the Tikka T3 when I held it, super comfy, light and a bolt that's smooth as butter. Tikka is the inexpensive line of Sako, like Toyota and Lexus. Sports Authority has them on sale frequently for just over $400.
If you go the Savage route you should try and get one with the accutrigger. Good luck!

None of these are for sale, just providing some info.
I have a Rem 700 ADL in .30-06 with a Cabela's Alaskan Guide 3.5-10x50 that shoots <1" groups of 5 at 100 yards.
I recently acquired in a trade, a Howa 1500 in .308 Win and mounted the old rifles Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x50.
AMAZING!
7 shots @ 100 yards hidden by a quarter!
Since, as I understand it, Howa and Weatherby Vanguards are made in the same factory, and they are both around $400 without scope, I will be getting a few more of either Howa or Vanguards.
Back when the Co Spgs Sports Authority on N Academy was still Gart's, I got a Win 70 Black Shadow in .270 Win for $310 on closeout. Another tac driver.
Also have my Rem 700 BDL in .243 that my grandparents gave me for my 12th b-day. On a good day, I can make 10 shots share the same hole that looks like a 12 ga slug hole.
I think any of they choices you have will serve you well.
Can't go wrong with a savage 110
I picked up a TC Venture for $399 on sale at Sports Authority and TC is also running a $50 rebate, so it will end up being $350 without a scope.
I played with the Savages (non-accutrigger) and the Weatherbys but the TC had the best trigger by far and it is also adjustable. The TC doesn't come with a proof target like the Weatherby but the Venture is guaranteed to shoot MOA which is better than this operator.
I would rather buy from a gun store but none of them could beat the $399 price tag so Sports Authority got my money.
Off to the range this weekend to try it out...
As promised, an update on the performance of my new budget 30-06, TC Venture. 3-shot group size at 200-yards averaged about 1-3/4” from a sandbag rest at the bench. I am by no means a great marksman, so I am thrilled with that! Picture of my best 1-1/2” group below.
