Here's one I took while in Afghanistan- Chinook landing creating what we called the "Cloud of Death."

When I get home from work tonight I'll post up some cool aircraft photos while in country from Dec 2008- Dec 2009...

Hats off, please, and a moment of reverent silence for the dear, departed Liberty Belle. That was a beautiful airplane, I'm sure glad I got to see her in person.

How about we pile up our gun funds and buy this:

We might be able to afford 1 or 2 hot laps around the patter at APA.

Can't believe I just found this thread tonight. Here are a few of my collection.

And you thought it was a yaw damper problem!

A friend of mine practicing his alternate engine start procedures at GE engine school in May:

Another pic from the USAF museum. Any guesses?

A picture of an airplane my late father and a friend owned about 1960.

Let's see if someone can identify this. Google can give you the answer but please don't cheat.

They also owned a Cessna Airmaster together. Not sure if it was the 145 or 165.

Both of these airplanes are very rare today and would be worth a small fortune but back then, they were just old airplanes that weren't worth much. Dad and Lloyd sold them long before I was old enough to remember them, so the picture dates to about 1960 or so.
