Early Radio-Plane Target Drone pictures.

I'm guessing these were taken in the late 50's or early 60's. The Radio-Plane Target drones were used from WW2 and into the 1960's. Many versions had parachutes installed, to salvage the drone for re-use if it wasn't shot down at the end of its flight.

One of the pictures shows two Airmen standing by a wrecked drone, notice the 2 aircraft tail turrets behind them. Looks like Boeing B-47 radar controlled twin 20MM guns!
