    Default The Buff

I worked on B52, KC135 and C130s during Vietnam. I have more pictures but I am limited by the size so I can only post a few. I only got to fly on KC135s and C130s. I was removed from flying status before I got to fly on a BUFF. The #4 picture is a Buff taking on fuel from a KC135.

Here is a rough day. Check out the map for JFK, it can be a mess in bad weather.

These are pictures of the B52D at Utapao AB, Thailand 1968. They usually loaded 84-500 pounders in the belly and 24-750 pounders on the external racks.

More B-52 pictures. The newer B-52H is next to a B-2. The B-52 is loaded.

The B-17 is throttle up and the B-52 is throttle back.

It was a busy day at the bombing range and drop zone a few days ago.

We had C-130s doing airdrops, F-16 dropping bombs and shooting things, EOD blowing things up, C-130s getting shot at with smoky sams and radar missiles.

Here is what flares (missile decoys) look like from the ground.

You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
