Wanding at Red Rocks at concerts?

Anyone know if security does random wanding at Red Rocks for concerts?
I can't recall from the last time I was there.

last time I was there they weren't, but that was for a Bighead Todd and the Monsters show. Previous to that, I went to a metal show and they were. So I'm guessing it kinda depends on the bands?

It is a couple of years since I went there for a concert, but we go to most of the Film On The Rocks shows every year and they just visually check bags. I have a Maxpedition Versipack and I like to take my DSLR with me (lens in the drink holder, body in the hidden ccw pouch) and they haven't spotted it once.

The couple of times I've been there, once for a Pearl Jam concert and the other for a Celtic Woman "show" (one was pre-marriage, the other post....you figure it out), they did not wand. But I'm guessing per the above that it all depends on how rowdy the band and crowd is that is showing up.

I have not been to Red Rocks this summer but least year and in years past there have never been "wanding" but, depending on the act, there is a pat-down.

Went to the Zac Brown band concert last night at Red Rocks. Fantastic. Security seemed to pat down about every other person and check every bag when I and 10,000 of my closest friends entered.

Went earlier this month, they did a pat down and visual bag inspection.

No patdowns or wandings at the RUSH concert a few months ago.

I did spot a lot of pot use going on. :P
