Yes, he's the German "sling shot" guy. My buddy's made a few wrist rockets based on this guy's designs. My guess is it's real. And it looks very painful! Reminds me of when we were kids & shooting our bb guns in the basement of our house, BEFORE we realized we should put something in front of the rocks that were behind our targets (cheap model cars & planes we'd put together).

Yeah, I'm saying it's real too. He's done an assload of very cool slingshot videos, and I'd say his luck ran out on this one. The guy is very creative and inventive with his slingshots, but 20mm ball bearings against a wooden backstop apparently isn't a great idea.Originally Posted by sellersm

As for the sling shot one, it does look legit. I know someone that had that happen with a 12ga slug on a steel target......... Blood spurted about the same way and the flap of skin/flash pulled away the same when he pulled the rag from the wound........
