Question Feedback on Marlin XT22R bolt action rifles?

Our council is considering renting some Marlin XT22R bolt action rifles from Remington for summer camp but were wondering about their durability. We generally put about 4-5000 rds through each rifle over the course of 8 weeks each year. Anyone familiar with the XT22 and how it holds up under strenuous use?

We had what we referred to as the blue Marlins at PV for years. I think they were a target model. They held up extremely well for a camp use rifle. Sorry I don't know if that's the same model.

I have a tube fed version that is a tack driver out of the box. The bolt may use some work when first purchased as the finish around where the bolt handle drops was a little rough but my 9 yr old can easily load and shoot all 17 lr that it holds with a pretty right group. We are only about 1000 rounds in but not one issue to date.

We decided to go with the Savage Mark Is offered by CMP. Really great rifles with smooth triggers and very durable. The boys really enjoyed shooting with them this summer.
