    Default Trinidad Range OPEN

    The Bill Prator Shooting Range was formally reopened Saturday.

    The range, located on County Road 24-6 southeast of the city, has been revitalized thanks to the interest, hard work and enthusiasm of many area citizens.
    My X-rep Fran Coleman told me if I didnt like the gun laws in denver I could move, SO I DID

    Worked on that range while going to school at Trinidad. 1976-79.
    MR Prator was a great instructor and great guy to work with.
    I still wonder how he could drink little pony cans of beer in the hot sun and mix concrete.
    His Elk rifle was a .257 Roberts.
    I like sex, drugs and automatic weapons. That's why i'm a dues paying member of the Libertarian party. Struggling to keep the government away from messing with the above.

    Yahhh! I have been hoping for something to open up around Trinidad so that I didn't have to drive down to Raton! How far out on 24.6 is it?

    They want to start on the trap range in the spring. Its on grey creek road about 10 miles east
