20yrs 1month as a Spook. 'Retired' to inactive Fleet Reserves in 05, came back to Colorado. Been around the world a few times, figured this is as good a place as it gets for me to spend my time.
No, I tried to join right out of high school, but the MD doing the medicals said I had a bad heart. After seeing a couple of Cardiologist's who all said I was fit for duty, they still wouldn't let me join. That's probably my biggest regret in life.
Dang this is an old thread. Revived after 6 years! Nice to see who served where and when though.

I was medically discharged due to two broken knee caps from training. Never deployed and I miss the Army everyday. One of the best life experiences I ever had. Worst regret at the same time. I wish I had never got injured or fought harder to stay in and just re-class or something. At least I tried is what I tell myself. Better than some lame asses out there who bitch but never put in.

Basically, for the first half of my AF career, I had to put up with problematical loadmasters (zipper suited sun gods like Hoser). Then the second half I got rid of societies human garbage, pot heads to Al Quada and everthing in between.
