Its reoccuring itch. So I scratched it with a G22 just recently but I really like the SA Mil-Spec 1911 too.

Springfield's WWII Commemorative is a good buy also at $370. No frills, no bells and whistles, but a darn good shooter. Neat retro looking box too.

And if you vote the XD should it be the sub compact or regular?

I'll bring my SA XD9 Sat in case you make it. That way, you can plink a bit with it. I didn't like the Sub because it didn't have a pinky rest on the bottom of the mag, just didn't fit right in my hand. I do like the OD Green ones.

I voted for the 1911 though, as that will be my next purchase.

KC, I voted for the XD......but, if you can pick up that glock 27 to compliment the g22 that is a match made in heaven.If bbadmin still has the deal on that I'd take it.I wanted to buy that purty bad but I've already got the pair. I only regret paying about 200 clams more at the shop for my g27.
