I just wanted to mention that the Italian place just west of Jensen's (Monoco Trattoria) is just excellent and has a pretty darn good lunch deal
    well worth it.

the NY Deli to the west across the street is awesome too.

food and guns, what could be better?

    Default Thank you

I just wanted to mention a HUGE thank you to the guys and gals up at Jensen Arms. I walked in last week as a newbie to the AR-15 scene and the entire staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and more importantly, very patient as I sorted through the various options for what the best rifle would be for my wife and I to shoot together. We finally walked out with a 16" 1:8 floating barrel RRA with an EOTech sight. I fell in love with it when I got a chance to shoot it for the first time last weekend and promptly stopped in again to get another case of ammo. My wife calls it "hers" even though she can't shoot it yet (pregnant) but she at least graciously "allows" me to shoot it for her.

My wife apologizes for the drool she left on the counter after seeing your stock of firearms. I'll keep her in the car next time.

    Thank you Jensen Arms!

Went to the shoot up north today and then we stopped in at Jensens. Very nice folks and a very nice selection to peruse. I would recommend them to anyone that is up that way.

    +1 for Jensens

Hrm, the few times I've contacted them over the phone they've been, short with me for no particular reason. I'm VERY curteous and respectful too.

The folks I've spoken to seem like "clerks" - apathetic and un motivated. Like I'm wasting their time. I've contacted them about 4 times total.

And why would you limit someone from purchasing more than 1k of surp ammo?

Maybe so they won't have to seem like jerks when they tell someone else that it is all gone
