My mistake I was thinking of another dealer.

I believe you are referring to Eagle Firearms... Their website states "retail by apointment only" ... If you read the review on that shop, you'll see why they require appointments to shop/purchase. It appears to be a "one-man-show"...Originally Posted by androck14
Funny there is a post about Jensen on here. I bought my first AR there.
Kinda of nice having a fully stocked AR store within driving distance.
If I am lucky and get in on the group STAG buy on AR15 I will be
making another trip to Jensen's for a couple of lowers.
That place has ammo and mags stacked deep. Hell AR's and parts also.
Lots of RRA.![]()
Group buy? What what what????
Most are very polite, but when it gets busy they don't even get breaks. I picked up a Sig P226 that they had on gunbroker. Mike the manager stopped the auction within minutes without even a deposit(Which they state on thier auctions they will do if a person wants it in the store), On top of that I had a postal snafuu that made me pick it up a day later, and mike was really cool about it. Jensens is not Macy's were they fawn over you, (although some sales people there are very friendly), I knew Bob Jensen from back in Long Island at a famous gun shop on sunrise highway. Now they were brisk. Jensens has zero tolerance to Bulls#$t, and if your thin skinned go to Walmart or Jax or Sportsmans wharehouse, but you won't find the selection or prices. Nowa days you can get it all on the internet at CDNN, or J and G and cheap, but you wont have it all to look at or hold. Besides who wants to deal with UPS or the postal system. I go there with my kid and put our order in and wait for my CBI check over at Subway. Accross the street, they have a gazillian stores in there shopping center, and now you can park. The old store had lousy parking, as did all stores over there. Oh, and don't look for layaways, Bob hates them and hates credit cards. They charge the stores 3% off the top so there goes his mark up and your good prices, so who needs them. Credit cards are cancer anyway.
Don't come looking for fancy sport guns or collectables. The internet is best for that at Guns America, Auction Arms, or Gun Broker.
For tactical stuff and accessories Jensens is like a SWAT armory.

Jensens is good to go. Great people with great pricing. They can be brisk at times, but when you have so many people trying to buy a gun you have to be. I have been to a few busy gun stores back east where you took a number, like at the dmv and had to wait your turn to be helped. Then once you got your number you had a certain alotment of time to do your business. Jensens is no where near that bad/brisk.
Also Jensens will have more shit in stock than any other store around, especially with our current situation. I dont think many will be as eager to complain about them when they have stuff in stock that everywhere on the net is sold out of.
I heard on AR15.com someone said that Jensens was refusing to give pricing over the phone yesterday because of what might happen last night
