Yeah old town part of Evanston is kind of tight for anything. Off at Front st, park in the econo lodge lot, wander over and enjoy.

Best Italian I've had in Colorado?
    1. Neapolitan's, in Nederland. (But I see a rumor it's closed.)
    2. The Saucy Noodle, in Bonnie Brae.
    3. Maggiano's, in Centennial.

Default Burns Pub and Restaurant, Broomfield

Was up in Broomfield yesterday evening to pick up some boots from Jason303... I usually stick to the south side of denver, so looked up restaurants in Broomfield on yelp, and found The Burns Pub and Restaurant.

Very good english/irish pub fare, and a huge selection of whiskeys.

Started with Irish Poutine (was fries and gravy with really chunks of corned beef mixed in),

My wife had the Shepard's Pie, I had the rueben (with more of the house made / aged corned beef). We both took home about 1/2 of our meal.

Also had Irish cream creme brulee, and some sticky toffee pudding (apparently a common english thing).

Everything we had was great. We ended up there pretty close to peak dinner time, and didn't have a wait.

Best Italian I've had in CO is at Undici.

A little pricier than Olive Garden, but man alive it's amazing.

ETA: Looking at their menu again, it's actually about on par with Olive Garden for similar items. But they're soooo much better.

Only negative thing I have to say about Smokin' Daves BBQ in Lyons is that my cornbread was cold and even at that it still tasted good. Everything else was hot and steaming.

I had the three meat platter (your choices) and shared with a friend.

Roasted BBQ Chicken - excellent flavor, juicy, tender and fell right off the bone.

St. Louis style ribs - great flavor, sauces, smoked to perfection, juicy, tender and fell right off the bone.

The Brisket - was amazing. By far the best I've ever had, juicy, tender and full of flavors that left you wanting more.

    Baked beans were excellent!

Potato salad was good, could have been a smidge sweeter.

By far one of the best bbq joints I have found in Colorado. I will definitely be returning for more!

Having spent the first twenty-eight years of my life in Texas I’m kind of spoiled to good barbecue. I’ve been to that place in Lyons and it is pretty good. Worth the stop if you’re that way and you need to grab a bite.

Same here. Angelo's in Ft Worth.

Ditto the joint in Lyons. Can't remember the name.

The Smoke Yard, in Idaho Springs, is good too.
