Finally ate at that place a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what all the fuss was about. The food was good, I'll give you that, but it isn't worth waiting for an hour for it. I'll take 5 guys or Freddy's over steak & shake any day of the week.

    And on another dining adventure........

DO NOT eat at the Taco House in Littleton. The lady wanted to go to Taco House a few weeks ago because she hadn't been there in years, I've never been. I thought to my self "hmm, place is CALLED Taco House, they probably have some pretty good tacos". That was my first mistake. Ordered the "beef" tacos (and I use the term loosly). The "beef" (that should really be in double quotes) was the consistency of toothpaste and tasted horrible. It was like if you took some grond beef, put it in a food processor with some smelly garbage and mixed it up. It was a 3 taco plate, I powered through almost 2 of them before I gave up.
Mistake #2: "maybe the chicken tacos are better!!" No. No they aren't. The chicken had absolutely zero flavor at all. As in, boil the chicken in unseasoned water, put nothing on it, chop it up, put it on a taco. Disgusting. The GF ordered a chile relleno. It was good.

It's the most disgusting Mexican food I've ever tasted. The mystery meat off the street vendors in Tijuana tastes better. Yes, I have eaten the mystery meat in TJ.

Next time I want Mexican fast food I'll just go to El Chubby's. I know what I'm getting there.

If you guys like Vietnamese food, try New Siagon on Ferderal and Alameda.

New favorite BBQ place: Nordy's in Loveland. I'd kill for a plate full of BBQ from that place.

Wife and I have a lunch date planned for Mon. We're gonna try the Sherpa House in Golden. Anyone been there?

Ohh hell yes. I'd sell important parts of my body for their brisket & smoked sausage sandwich.

Big thumbs up for Sherpa House. Went Mon...had the lunch buffet. Wife bought a $20 Groupon for $10. Lunch bill came to $1.52 minus tip.

Outstanding food. Can't wait to go back for dinner and try some yak.

Nordy's is, in my opinion, the best BBQ in the state. Serious Texas BBQ is a fairly close second.

I eat at New Saigon all the time - hands down the best Viet in Denver. All my Viet buddies eat there.

I'll add Jim -N- Nicks at Northfield across the parking lot from Bass Pro. On weekends they have a smoked prime rib. Awesome. Get there early to get yours. The rest of the menu is pretty good for a chain.
