Carmine's on Penn is about my favorite Italian in town. It is family style, so the more people you bring the cheaper the bill...

I was instructed by a friend to go to The Rib House in Longmont. Ribs were excellent! Owner is a very nice guy too.

Same here. Angelo's in Ft Worth.

Ditto the joint in Lyons. Can't remember the name.

The Smoke Yard, in Idaho Springs, is good too.

If they have good beer on tap I’ll have to check them out the next time I’m there. Thanks.

Hard Eight BBQ in Coppell, TX by the DFW Airport is amazing. Best smoked turkey I've ever had.

Friend were in town and we went to Forest Room Five in Denver. It was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I'm pretty laid back and don't really complain about stuff, so this is significant. I even signed up to Yelp to make a short review. Terrible service, we didn't even get half of our order. I read some other Yelp reviews and it seems to be stupid people giving 5 stars, and normal people giving one star. The hipster crowd was infuriating, but comes with the area so it was to be expected. A lot of the Yelp reviews complain that the staff all seem stoned. Usually, people blaming every bad experience on recently legalized weed bothers me, but that certainly seemed to be the case with our experience. I give this place 100 thumbs down. Do not go there. One of the five star reviews even claimed "Lots to explore, best done under the influence of something." Really? If I have to be under the influence to enjoy a restaurant, it's not good. Don't go.

River and Wood in Boulder was great. Took my wife and we had a lovely time. The menu sounds like it should not work, but tasted great. Local beers that are not your standard fare. Cookies and milk for desert capped of a great experiance

Stopped by there this weekend and they were closed. Sound like it was sudden. Too bad, they had good food.

doesn't appear to be permanent. Look like construction and some renovations are underway.

Don't think less of me, but after Tanner Saturday I went to Stanley Market place in Yuppieville with the Hip Cool Urbanites and went to Rosenberg's Bagels & Delicatessen. Long time since I have had a tayor pork roll sandwich.
