I haven't been to Sobo 151. However, if you like Czech and eastern European food I highly recommend Cafe Prague in Morrison. Outstanding food and service.

Also, if you're a Seinfeld fan, I think the soup nazi went to work at Cafe Prague after the series was canceled. Seriously...the guy that runs the place is just like him. The first time I called to make reservations went like this:

Me: Hi. I'd like to make dinner reservations.

SN: What time you want to come? (heavy eastern euro accent and gruff-sounding)

Me: We'd like reservations for 5pm.

SN: NO! No table for you 5 o'clock. You eat dinner 5:30.

Me: Ahhh...ok. How about a table for 2 at 5:30?

SN: OK. You be here 5:30.

Once we got there and met him he was very nice. But he's very demanding of his staff and he keeps everyone on the ball. Great, great food.

Sushi - Junz in Parker is fantastic. Samurai Sushi down on Arapahoe and Dayton is pretty good too. They have a $21 all you can eat deal that I frequent about once every 2 months or so. Great quality. You just have to eat everything you order or you have to pay full price. CHALLENGE!!

Lebanese and Persian cuisine - Ali Baba in Golden used to be great. I haven't been there in a couple or few years. Best hummus ever.

Mexican - I've heard great things about a place called Senor Pepe's but I've never been there. They're supposed to have the best chile rellenos around I guess.

    Default Schnieds Smoke Shack

Schneids Smoke Shack is amazing BBQ. Its cheap, filling, and hot damn its delicious. This place doesn't get busy. Really friendly warmhearted people. This is honestly my favorite restaurant of all time. Its south of Mineral and Platte Canyon at 7986 S Depew St Littleton

I remember those skits well. they were based off of the Billy Goat Tavern on Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago. As I recall, the place is (was) owner by Belushi's uncle.

Actual video from the place: (couldn't find a YouTube video of the SNl skit)
