Toast, off Santa Fe and Bowles in Littleton, is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had these biscuit/pancakes with sausage in them, topped with eggs, and smothered in sausage gravy. I couldn't eat more than about half, and I can eat a lot!

The line on a Saturday or Sunday morning coincides with the deliciousness of the food. Plan on waiting for a while.

And once you're seated don't be surprised if your table is approximately 3"-12" away from the next table. ...no, seriously.

Anybody been to Venice Ristorante Italiano in Greenwood Village off of Holly? Going there for my better halfs work Christmas party this weekend, looks awfully fancy to me.

Yes, very good. It's few doors down from Rice Bistro that someone else mentioned previously.

Good to hear! Last year the Christmas party was at some fancy place in Castle Rock, too fancy for my blood. At least this place looks like it has some stuff on the menu I recognize.

I haven't been to Sobo 151. However, if you like Czech and eastern European food I highly recommend Cafe Prague in Morrison. Outstanding food and service.

Also, if you're a Seinfeld fan, I think the soup nazi went to work at Cafe Prague after the series was canceled. Seriously...the guy that runs the place is just like him. The first time I called to make reservations went like this:

Me: Hi. I'd like to make dinner reservations.

SN: What time you want to come? (heavy eastern euro accent and gruff-sounding)

Me: We'd like reservations for 5pm.

SN: NO! No table for you 5 o'clock. You eat dinner 5:30.

Me: Ahhh...ok. How about a table for 2 at 5:30?

SN: OK. You be here 5:30.

Once we got there and met him he was very nice. But he's very demanding of his staff and he keeps everyone on the ball. Great, great food.
