I go to SS once in a while just to look around, see what's new.

IMO their prices can easliy be beat just about anywhere.

Last year when Weatherby was selling Vanguard's for $399, SS was $429. When I asked about the price, "$399 is MSRP, only a suggestion".

I have purchased a few small items and some powder there, only becasue I could not find it anywhere else at the time.

The 1lb can of powder was nearly twice the cost that Bass Pro sells for. But I needed it and BP was out.

Great selection, mostly friendly folks, very knowledgeable, but too expensive for my wallet.

Haven't been back since they tried to charge $37 for a 50 pack (9mm) of Hydrashoks.

After visiting Bravo Arms on Saturday, I will soon forget where SS&S is. No sense wasting gas and time on overpriced items.
