I deal with a Farmer/Rancher in the Limon area for beef/prok. He was telling me about a Coyote calling and shooting contest comming up. I think it's next weekend. I'll find out for sure and post the date if anyone's interested. He has access to thousands of acres to do this if anyone is interested in the two day hunt. Think that their giving away prizes for most killed, largest, etc. Would be a good time to try out the 1500..

    I don't have a .223 bolt rifle. Yet.

Hell, it took me over 2 1/2 years to find a .308 bolt rifle that fit my needs.

Have played with .22-250 & 6mm Rem, but for cheap brass, barrel life, & powder use decided to try this out.

Have you had it long enogh to know if you like it?

I currently have a Ruger M77 MKII in 22.250, and a M77 flat bolt in .220 swift. I will probably end up with a .223 bolt gun soon...probably another Ruger or a Savage. Gotta love the small bore centerfires!
