    Default Tac-Sol X-Ring Reciever Question...

Does anyone know if the Tac-Sol X-Ring Reciever has buffers on their dual springs or if there is some aftermarket place available for them?

I've tried three sources and no one can tell me definitively if the reciever has buffers or not. As far as aftermarket searches, I can find buffers but nothing that specifically mentions this particular reciever. I'm not a fan of the metallic "clack"-ing on cycles...

    Anyone know first hand?

I have one on my Team Challenge gun. There is a single buffer/bumper that is replaceable.

They are very quiet and run very smooth.

Since you have one... can I ask what barrel you're running with it? Would it be good to mate their own barrel or go with something a little more... I dunno, like stainless steel instead of their aluminium?

Why 18 inch, does it really make that much of a difference over 16 inch using a .22LR?
