My AR carbine build in progress.

This is what I got so far. Started w/ stripped MEGA receivers, installed Bushmaster & DPMS small parts in 'em, Magpul stock and trigger guard, and G27 grip.

I'm naming her "Kana", which is the short name we call my daughter Kana'auaoauli'ilani.






Now to start saving up for a fluted Bushy barrel and Daniel Defense handguard.

WOW thats an interesting name what does it mean?

Not a clue. The in-laws came up with it and it took me awhile to even memorize its spelling. I got away with naming my son's first name , though, and not a Hawaiian name. I'll have to remember to ask her what her name means the next time I talk to her.
Here's another one, her cousin's name: Lilinoelikonaniho'ole.
I'd like to see if their full names are printed on their driver's licenses.

So how much do you have in to this so far?

Counting the Bushmaster fluted HBAR, flash hider, and gas block, I'm at about $1050 + shipping costs. Just need to order an LMT bolt carrier assembly and some kind of optics and it'll be ready to fire.

Thanks. I'm planning on putting flip-up sights front and rear, then a red dot, hopefully an Aimpoint pending funds.
