    Default North Cleanup attempt

    This is what the family and I did today.... I think that the Spring Cleanup will be very productive. With some forethought, sponsors , and the vegitation not overgrown like it is now, we can do some good.

    Sorry I didn't get it done this year, but I am now wiser about the requirements

    Great Job :!:

    If You want, The Feb. and April Shoots are up there, If it's not to dang Cold in Feb. We could try to get a little. or even try in March. That would give time to coordinate things.

    Well I would probably say let's shoot for April. That will give the snow time to melt~!!!

    I also plan on getting a dumpster up there for that weekend, paid for by the US Forrest service. Same thing that they do at Left Hand Canyon.

    Still checking on the power-equipment option too for the appliances and water heaters that are up there :roll:

    I have spoke with the US Forrest Service and things are not as "peachy" as we thought.

    The annual "Left Hand Cleanup" that we were hoping to copy, is put on by the Four Wheel Drive Club and THEY supply the dumpster through donations, not the USFS.

    So I have again changed the cleanup day to the June 17 North shoot with CO-AR15 club and I am going to contact some more potential sponsors.

    Here's how you can help:

    If you have a truck and are willing to volunteer it for large garbage;
    If you know anyone that likes to shoot and would like to give our sport a boost in image;
    If you know any journalists that are looking for a feel good story;
    If you know anyone that owns a business and is willing to sponsor a cleanup;
    or if you have ANY other ideas!!

    I would like to have a BBQ after the cleanup and before the shoot that day. So sponsors could be money donations, food donations, or some prize donations.

    Another option is a huge BBQ pit and take donations for brats, dogs, burgers, etc. to cover the cost of the landfill fees.

    Again any suggestions are welcome!!!
