    Three. Sort of.

    1. Ruger 22/45 5-1/2. I've had this a while. Reliable, accurate, lots of fun. This is what I use to start someone who has no experience with a pistol.

    2. Browning Buck Mark Standard 5-1/2. I've had it only a couple of weeks and don't have much experience with it. I got this one with the idea that I would trick it a bit. Red-dot sight, perhaps an aluminum barrel from Tactical Solutions. I'd be interested in talking with anyone who has used any of the TS products.

    3. Ciener conversion kit for my 1911's. Contrary to some reports I've heard and read this is rock-solid reliable as long as it gets a good cleaning every 100-150 rounds.

My Marvel conversion seems to require a lot of cleaning too. I've cleaned my Buckmark, but I'm not sure it ever really needed it.

I think a .22 pistol should be able to handle a 1000rd range-session without having to stop and clean it.
