Cars are fine, my slammed Mustang did it back in November.

A storm system will also start to affect the area, by late Thursday, and especially Thursday night. Snow will be ongoing in the mountains, but take its time developing over the lower elevations. Snow will start up on the Palmer Divide by late afternoon, and spread across the rest of Southern Colorado on Thursday night. The snow looks to wind down early Friday morning, with storm totals ranging from 2-6" across most of the area. Some isolated higher amounts are possible, along the Palmer Divide.
