FSC has two ranges one at Falcon the other at Fountain. Due to encroachment concerns and a member putting 5 rounds of M193 ball over the hill hitting a garage in November 2009. The Falcon range will close in time. Maybe today or in ten years.Who knows?

In 1999 we purchased 453 acres of land near Fountain and started by duplicating the ranges at Falcon so FSC could maintain if Falcon closed. The pistol range firing line at Falcon is 220 feet long, Fountain is 750 so no crowding there. Fountain is divided in two parts, 7.5 10 15 yd holders are 400 feet long and the 25 50 yd holders are 350 feet long. Short range and long range sides do not have to clear for each other. There is a divider berm.

There is two 225 feet long 100 yd firing lines with a divider berm. Both sides also have holders at 50yds. The 300 yard line is 200 feet long with holders at 200 yds also.

All the above mentioned ranges have concrete firing lines with benches. There is also two informal ranges 60 yd and 100 yd. You can shoot water jugs etc. here. NO GLASS OR OLD REFRIGERATORS, TV'S ETC. Just make sure all bullets stay in the berms.

This range is surrounded by State land so encroachment will not be a problem.
There are no plans to raise dues or institute a work bond. We try to stay as low on dues as we can.

This board is driven by the needs of the full membership and possible Falcon closure. The long range had to wait till last for the above mentioned reasons but 2011 will rectify this.
