I don't EVER plan on hunting with The Judge! It was just a "what if" conversation over a game of cards on Christmas. Personally, I think the judge should never leave the house (Too Ugly).
Handguns are not aloowed for gamebirds except grouse and ptarmigan.
GAME BIRDS (EXCEPT MIGRATORY BIRDS)
A. Rifles or handguns allowed for dusky
(blue) grouse and ptarmigan.
B. Shotguns cannot be larger than 10 gauge
not firing a single slug. Shotguns cannot
be capable of holding more than 3 shells in
magazine and chamber combined.
C. Hand-held bows and crossbows.
D. Pellet guns and slingshots allowed for
dusky (blue) grouse and ptarmigan.
E. Hawking.
Also there is the 3 round limit even if they were allowed since it might be considered a shot gun.
