I came home today and the trap was sprung and all the nuts I put around (and under) the trap were gone. The nut inside the stick is still there though. The problem with squirrels is that they have hands so they can just reach in and grab stuff without getting caught like a bird would. I'm glad that I was at least able to set the trap sensitive enough that it was tripped by an animal.
