    Default Howdy from Colorado Springs

My wife and I moved out here from Kalifornia back in 2003 when I relocated with my company...Lockheed Martin. I am so glad Colorado is what it is...a gun friendly State. Kalifornia is past insanity and now for every clear thinkiing individual left the saying is RABC Retire Anywhere But Kaliforna! I'm glad I'm hear and I ain't leaving. Anyway I'm a retired LEO from you know where, and I just wanted to say hi and ask some of the members where I can start shooting CMP, IDPA and maybe IPSC within driving distance from the Springs? I'm an old PPC shooter from you know where, and there isn't much of that out here. So hi and looking forward to hearing from some of you guys and gals.
    Bill

Thanks, I'm doing that right now and I see they are opening a new indoor range near PAFB later this year. That's good to know. I'm still navigating my way around the site; I'm sure I'll find many more postings of interest.
    Thanks; Bill

Which range would that be at Marlin? Is it listed in the forum somewhere?

The "range" is National Forrest land, The one down south is just outside of Woodland Park, That is the one We're going too this Sat. The one up north is West of Lyons on Co. 7. In the "Club Shoots" section You can find all the info, such as meeting places and times. Hope to see You at some.

Thanks Gman; if nothing else maybe I'll come down and watch and meet & greet the first time around. I'm in the process of selling many of my firearms so I can convert over to more usefull tools of the trade.
