    Default eagles or maple leaves

Hopefully I'm not opening up a can of worms here, but which would prove to be the better coin to stack for preps?

I was just trying to get more opinions on it, I am trying to decide on either of the two, not really interested in rounds or bars.

Honestly when it comes down to it which can you get cheaper. The only real diff is cml is marked .9999 instead of .999

Also consider which one is harder to counterfeit. If you have to use it. You don't want people thinking its fake

The stories of China knocking off 2011 (and potentially other years) ASE's is a bit troubling...

The chinese knockoffs are very easy to tell apart if you know what a real ASE looks like. They look close but have no fine details like a real ASE.

As for Th OP question ASE and maples are nice but have big premiums I would go with name brand rounds, then start in on the ASE and maples. Just my 2 cents
