    Any places close to Denver good for rabbit hunting?

    My front yard in the burbs? I have at least 30 rabbits living around me and my next door neighbors. I have been contemplating getting an air rifle and having dinner...

    You can hunt the Jefferson County side of Golden Gate Canyon State Park outside Golden. I have bagged a few rabbits up there. There is also a SWA area there but I forget the name. You just have to sign in at the visitor's center. I just follow the tracks in the snow in the morning and shoot them with a .22 while they are warming in the sun.

    i might have a buddy that does the same with a air rifle, its pretty funny when he comes to work and talks about it

    Not real close, but if you ice fish go to Terryall!! There is a Sh***T load of rabbits on the south west end follow the raod past the west lake turn off mabey a 1/4 or so. Always Wabbitts there to be KKIILLEEDD. And the fishing is always good if you don't see the ears.

    I usually go to terryall. Good hunting there. Never ice fished it though. Come in through Lake George pul over and start hunting. Guess I'll go again this weekend.
